Theoretical Issues Relating to the Study of Library Movement
Library movement, as a term doesn't find a place in many reference books. For example, check the following:
Dr. S R Ranganathan,
the father of library movement in India, mentions what makes a movement, in his review of developments during the 1930's and 1940s. While this gives a clue and sense that there is a term used in the library literature, but it leaves a gap in understanding what it means. (see: Ranganathan, S. R.
